CASI Park Instructor 1: Riding Standards

An overview of the riding standards required for the CASI Park Instructor Level 1 course.

 

This is another level 1 standards, but different from the previous one.

Yes, PARK level 1 course standards!

 

Snowboarding is unlimited and a whole lot of students will want to learn some awsome tricks or rip in the park.

We, as instructors, need to minimize the consiquence of failure but at the same time should meet our guests' expectations. 

 

So I would say learning how to teach riding in the park is crucial for the majority of instructors, no matter how you hate it(or LOVE it?!). I guess this might be one of the reasons why CASI make this park level 1 course available just after rookie instructors finish their very first level 1 course and exam. 

 

Also this course is mandatory before you take a level 3 course.

It means you should be comfortable with park features and teaching if you want to take a step forward to a high-end instructor.
