It’s fast approaching to the peak! Phoenix Park Pyeongchang snowboard lesson

by Jake_이종욱 2022. 12. 9.

Hi guys,
Let me share a couple of shots taken by a couple of friends.
Some good carving turns on easy and mellow slopes, which are still whole lot of fun!
As the weather permits, snow cannons are firing all the time and additional runs are being ready quickly.
And there is another cold front coming next week, therefore almost all slopes would be covered by Christmas holidays.

Korean ski resorts are not anything compared to Japanese or Canadian mountains where I used to teach and ride.
However, if you are first timer or just at the novice level, here is one of the safest mountains to learn snowboarding.
All the runs are well-groomed, so can be boring to advanced but it means there are not many variables which can be exhausting for beginners.
And plus, don’t forget the night skiing!
Phoenix Park runs from 9:00 to 22:00 non stop(there is a grooming break at the moment, but it will be gone once Phoenix Hill opens).
You have to give yourself some time to rest otherwise your thighs will be burning by all day skiing or riding.

Please let me know if you need any help!
Lessons are available, but being sold out quickly! Check the link below.
